IRON MAN (M) Review
Iron Man was Marvel's first blockbuster movie to be a part of the MCU. Iron Man is about weapons developer Tony Stark who, after surviving an attack from enemies in Iraqi, decides to defend innocents with the help of a high-tech suit which he designed. Stark goes on many missions saving lives and learns how to become a better person.
Like I said, Iron Man was Marvel's first big movie of the MCU. It was the first of currently twenty-three movies which makes up the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It started an incredible universe and I can see why!
This movie was amazing. There were so many things that made it fantastic: there was a terrific cast, intriguing storyline, enough romance, and plenty of action. The director, Jon Favreau, and other writers did an incredible job of bringing this comic book hero to the big screen.
I'm actually quite new to the Marvel universe and I'm watching all the movies in chronological order and writing reviews on all of them. So far I've written a review on Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain Marvel. Iron Man felt very similar to Captain America: The First Avenger. It had heaps of action, which at times felt slightly unrealistic but didn't take away from the story. I felt that Iron Man was much better than Captain Marvel. It was easy to understand, felt unique, and didn't drag on.
Iron Man is a movie I would recommend for almost anyone. I'm sure Marvel fans love it and it is a must-see for them, but you don't need to have seen any other Marvel movies to understand it.
As I'm watching these Marvel movies, I'm loving them more and more. Iron Man is no exception to this rule. Iron Man is a great movie with incredible action and a very well told story.
